He meets Alex, Jay and Nicco at a winter break party in Vegas, and quickly gets close to Alex. He’s smart, confident and charming, but can not seem to gain the trust of Jay. The issue is made worse when secrets from his past are brought to light. Alex’s unusual attraction to him only makes Jay dislike him more. Evan is cocky and entitled, and this gets him into trouble on a regular basis. Even with his many secrets and flaws, Evan is hard to not like. His charm and true love for Alex is redeeming, and adds to his mysterious persona.

Alex is very damaged, having survived the unimaginable against all odds. She rarely ever sleeps and survives on caffeine and Grey Goose Martinis. She is beautiful “in a way other women only dream of pulling off,” as her best friend, Jay, puts it. She is high style and wears only the finest designer clothes and shoes, but never in pink. Alex is quite wealthy. She does very well for herself and inherited a small fortune a few years ago. She is very private and shies away from the cameras that follow Jay around. She has no Facebook page, or any social media profile whatsoever. She has recently captured the attention of a mysterious secret admirer, who is quickly escalating into a serious threat. Alex appears completely self assured and confident, but hides deep dark secrets, and personal demons, that could threaten both hers and her friends’ lives.

Adrianna Vanderbilt is a pretty, sweet, creative photographer from Georgia. Even as the former long time, live in girlfriend of Jason, she maintains her close friendship with Alex. She is a preacher’s daughter who is rarely heard cursing and is usually the voice of reason for Alex and Jay. Ade is middle class and often intimidated by the wealth of her friends. She is calm and quiet, but will stand up for herself when necessary. She loves to travel, and “sees the world differently than the rest of us” as Jay puts it. Ade’s style is relaxed and feminine, unless she is going out with Alex. She is caring and sensitive, the natural nurturer of the group. When push comes to shove, Ade will take charge, but is usually more comfortable following Jay or Alex’s lead.
